MASN will televise 26 NCAA Carolina Basketball Games

MASN, the home of Carolina's live local sports, will televise 26 NCAA basketball games this season featuring 23 men's contests. MASN will feature 5 different conferences and 13 universities throughout the season with live action beginning this weekend. The ECU Pirates face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Sunday at 2 p.m. live from the Greensboro Coliseum, exclusively on MASN.

Throughout the season, MASN will televise 13 NCAA athletic programs from North and South Carolina including Wake Forest, East Carolina, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, UNC-Asheville, Gardner Webb, NC State, UNC-Wilmington, Western Carolina, High Point, Winthrop, UNC-Charlotte and Charlestown Southern.

The Official Cable Network of the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, MASN will televise six live UNCW games throughout the season. The extensive NCAA Carolina line-up will include C-USA, Big East, Big South, CAA and A-10 match-ups, including three women's Big South games in February.

"There is nothing more exciting than NCAA basketball in the Carolinas, and MASN is proud to highlight dozens of great matchups this season," said MASN spokesman Todd Webster. "With 200 Division I games this season, MASN provides maximum access to Carolina college hoops."

MASN will also carry Carolina college coaches' shows including Inside Basketball with Duke's Coach K, ECU's Mack McCarthy Show, and NC State's Sidney Lowe Show.

The official cable network of Georgetown University, George Mason University, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and the Big South Conference, MASN features hundreds of NCAA basketball games in at least 13 different conferences each season. With more than 80 Big East games, MASN is also home to the Big East Game of the Week. Additionally, MASN televises the annual BB&T Classic each December.

MASN is available on the expanded basic tier throughout much of North Carolina on seven fan-friendly cable and satellite providers including DirecTV (Channel 640), Dish Network (Channel 432), as well as Mediacom, Charter, MI Connections, Reds Cable, and Tri County Cable.
